DO I BELIEVE IN GOD?

This is where all things begin. But before I can move forward I must decide whose God I believe in? The cry of humanity is that there is One God. However, when I study the religions of men and the multiple gods that are portrayed, they are ALL Different. The characteristics of the gods of men are not alike. So, it begs the question, which god is real, which is false. Because there can only be ONE TRUE GOD.

Here are some thoughts to ponder. Everyone believes in something by faith? Yet proving that faith in something by experience and emotions is impossible. The atheists cannot prove there is no God. The Pantheists cannot prove that everything is God. Nor can the agnostics prove that it is impossible to know one way or the other.

Denying the existence of God does not dispel the mysteries of life. We as human beings are unwillingly drawn to something greater than ourselves. Because we have questions. Who is Ernie Pahlek? How did I get here? What is my purpose here on earth? And lastly, where am I going when I die?

Today many scientists who believe in evolution also believe that the universe in all its immensity and complexity did not just happen. Many are compelled to acknowledge the likelihood of an intelligent designer.

Open the Book of Genesis and meet the designer of the EARTH, the UNIVERSE, and YOURSELF. The TRIUNE GOD is also the author of human history with a chosen interest in the Jewish people.

From the beginning of Old Testament History through New Testament History you will find HIS-STORY. The Story of the MESSIAHS 1st Coming found in PROPHECIES written hundreds and thousands of years before; that have all come true. Israel’s past, present and future was pre-written along with the birth of Fallen Mankind and Fallen Mankind’s Death.

Together with other Prophets, Moses predicted not only Israel’s possession of the land but also, her unparalleled suffering and dispersion throughout the whole earth, her eventual repentance, and then finally her last days of restoration where only 1/3 will recognize their Messiah Jesus and will be saved and 2/3 will turn away from the True Messiah, putting their faith in the false messiah and be lost for eternity.

Read the Greatest Story Ever Told. The Story of the Son of God in the Old and New Testaments. Then Read the Book of Revelation to find your FUTURE. Yes, YOU are written on its pages because you are either part of mankind’s New Beginning or part of mankind’s End.

BE WISE AS A CHILD!

My question is…Will you be my child? John 1:12-13

We are Living in Difficult Economic Times

Anvil of God

We tend to judge ourselves by Looking UP to those who have more. We rarely look at those who have less. What we Need to do is LOOK UP into Heaven and realize that…..We already have it ALL …..If we have JESUS.

The Question to keep in mind is… How REAL is JESUS to you? Is your WALK of FAITH so strong that you can: Feel His hand in yours as you walk through this journey called Life? Can you hear HIS footsteps as HE walks alongside you? Can you smell the Sweet Fragrance of Christ all around you in the midst of your storm?

Without that kind of FAITH, our walk on this planet called Earth is extremely difficult. Even Jesus cried out to HIS FATHER from the Cross; My God, My God, Why have YOU forsaken ME ?

And in return…the Silence of God was Deafening. Yet even the silence was part of the plan, because that is what we do as believers…we live out HIS Plan …not ours.

We are called to WALK by FAITH and as we walk, we are to walk in HIS STRENGTH, not ours. And as we walk in Faith we are to TELL HIS STORY to Everyone. Our walk here touches daily both the bitter and sweet struggles we have in life.

  • The Silence of God • On Being Humble • The Anxiety that haunts us • The Joy of Hearing God Sing to us. The Blessing is that we do none of it alone. Jesus is with us and the Holy Spirit is in us every day we wake up and continue our Journey Home to the New Jerusalem in Heaven.

In the Beginning

“In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.”

The very first sentence of the Bible is very precious to me. In my early quest to know God I listened to many Pastors, Teachers, Family Members, Friends, Co-Workers. All had a view based on their own experiences.

But experiences and opinions have nothing to do with who God IS. God has revealed HIMSELF to us only within His recorded words contained in the Holy Bible. I appreciated the input of many, but have come to respect and trust only the pure Word of God.

In the beginning of my journey I heard the word Apologetics. I thought why would there be a category based on apologizing for the word of God. I was ignorant and immature in the Faith. Later I understood that the word Apologetics meant the study of how to defend your faith in an ever-increasing hostile environment.

As a Believer I have found my greatest passion is to learn how to defend my faith. The more I have studied, the more I have tested my faith in battle the more I have understood beyond any doubt… that without the Judeo/Christian Bible we would have no Idea, and no Revelation of who God is. Man on his own could never know who God is. Instead God has chosen to reveal Himself in only ONE Book. This book is a gift kept pure throughout the centuries of mankind’s earthly journey. This book will remain as a witness to the love, compassion, mercy and grace of our God for the coming epochs of eternity to the redeemed of all ages.
Also, every UN-Saved person will be condemned by the same book to an eternity without the Love of God as they stand before HIM in silence.

The Bible is the Autobiography of God in which He has revealed both Himself, humanities ultimate death sentence, His chosen Messiah / Redeemer / Savior, and the detailed history of mankind’s past, present and future. As I have said before, you are part of the Bibles Pre-written History; because you are part of mankind.

The question is whether you will be part of the continuing history of the Son of God. For the history of man is coming to a close. But the history of the Son of God is just beginning. All history is …HIS story and YOU are written on its pages for better or for worse.

The Bibles beginning account of Creation is as much historical fact as are the accounts of the people, places and events recorded in it. The Bible is unique in that it is the only book of its kind that uses pre-recorded history (prophecy), to substantiate that it is written by God through the inspiration of both the Jewish Prophets and Jewish Apostles.

Today we live by faith rather than by sight. It’s difficult for most of us to do this. But God has given us a mind to think and reason with. It is my hope and prayer that you will be able to engage your mind and think thru the defendable prophetic and historical facts of Scripture.

When you do this, you will understand that:

Faith is trust based on evidence…We choose to believe.

GOD BECAME A MAN …so HE could rescue “Some of us” that Believe.

No one has been left out of His invitation to come to Him…not even you.

The Bible IS the autobiography of God.

Yeshua / Jesus when He died on the Cross said “It is Finished”…but it is by NO Means the end of the story!

The “Greatest Story Ever Told” is about New Beginnings, a new Creation, a new Universe, a new Earth that will join with Heaven…and a new You.

Salvation is not about mans religion, but about a Personal Relationship between you and the SON of GOD.

“God has planted eternity in the hearts of all men”…if you but seek HIM and understand you will gain the assurance of your Salvation.

God is collecting all of His tears and all of humanities tears in a bottle. In the end there will be a new beginning. For now God sheds tears over you. Soon when He comes again there will be no more tears.

The fire in Gods eyes will have evaporated all the tears HE has shed over wayward people throughout time and history.

God gave us all free will. Everyone will go to the place they have chosen…He will grant their wishes forever.

You cannot pick and choose what you want to believe from Gods word. If you do then I question your faith and the road you are on.

To all who never believed the foundational statement by God when He wrote “In the Beginning God”…then you must question every word after that statement.
As you begin to question you will find that you have spent your life building your house of faith on shifting sand and not the rock foundation of Faith in God and His literal Word to us. For you, His Mercy and Grace will be gone…as He comes back only in Judgment.

But if you know Him and have a personal relationship with Him, and believe in the complete council of God; then He comes to you in Song, with a smile in His heart that will light up your heart forever. “He who was seated on the throne said I am making everything new! Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

“Look to Me ALL you ends of the earth! For I AM God and there is no other”

Fear No man…but Fear God.

The TEARS of THE FATHER

Lets go back in time for a moment to when God made Adam. God reached down into the earth and gathered a handful of dust from which He would create the first man. God is omniscient meaning He knows the future. He knew that there would be days coming when He would have to sacrifice His only begotten Son on a Cross-to bring salvation to the race of man.

So when God gathered the dust to form the first man, it was His tears that wet the dust to turn it into clay as God molded Adam into His Image. These were the first of the many tears of God because He knew what the cost was going to be to His beloved Son on the Cross. He knew that He would have to turn away from the cries of His Son on the Cross-when Jesus roared “My God, My God…Why have you forsaken me?”

Yet God made Adam anyway from the dust mixed with His Tears. Then as Adam awoke a new creation…the first man…Adam stood and stretched his arms out as all of us do when we awake.

And the light that reflected from God upon the first man created a shadow of the Cross-behind the man. God’s eyes looked upon the dust that Adam was made of …and tears filled the eyes of God again.

The Shadow of Mans Cross would be there every morning in this land filled with both light and shadows till the end of mankind’s days.

Tears of God

My Mommy and My Daddy

All through HIS WORD GOD makes it clear that He knows everything about us:
The number of hairs on our heads
He knew us before we were conceived
He chose us when He planned creation
He determined the exact time of our birth
The days of our lives are written in His book
Every good gift comes from His hand
He loves us with an everlasting love
His thoughts about us are more than the sand of the seashore
He rejoices over us by singing

Didn’t my (Holocaust Survivor) parents both know and understand this?

The answer is no.

The One True God says to each of us:

I am your Father, and I love you even as I love my son, Jesus. For in Jesus, my love for you is revealed. He is the exact representation of my being. He came to demonstrate that I am for you not against you and to tell you that I am not counting your sins.

My Son died so that you and I could be reconciled. His death on the Cross-was the ultimate expression of my love for you. I gave up everything I loved that I might gain your love.

Receive my son as your savior and nothing will ever separate you from my love again…and you can come home to me.

My mother spent the last year of her life in a nursing home with a feeding tube in her. She was in a fetal position and the only reflection of life you could see was in her eyes.

I visited my mother two days before she died. I wiped away the tears from her eyes… and said goodbye.

The last time I saw my father alive he was crying. I said what is wrong. He said he felt pain in his heart that he was leaving me alone in the world. He said he loved me deeply.

God in his mercy to me sparked the flame of eternal life in my mind and heart after my parent’s death. It took their death’s to place my feet onto the road to life in Christ.

I have learned through those I love that out of death God brings forth life. And out of pain God grants wisdom.

This is the Promise of the ONE TRUE and Living God to all His children…to all those precious in His sight,to all those that come to HIM through HIS SON…that He is still on the Throne and He is involved in every detail of your life.

He knew you before the foundations of the earth were formed, and He called you into existence in eternity past. He will hold you in the palm of His hand until the day He takes you home to be with HIM in the future.

We are creatures of time,created by God for eternity. Today we live from one God Moment to another. In eternity we will live IN THE MOMENT, forever with God.

May HIS Joy and HIS Shalom fill all the days of your life as you live to fulfill HIS purposes for your life.

Molech, the god of Abortion

The Old Ones day began early with the dawn. Clothed in animal skins he walked out from among his people; out from the inner recesses of his cave dwelling towards the sunlight.

He paused at the cave mouth and turned back to his family as they knelt to the ground. Then on their behalf he moved out of the shadows into the light to greet the gods they served.

He called to his family to come out of the cave and to follow him to the Temple steps…to the place of sacrifice to the god Molech. His daughter had just given birth to a beautiful baby. It was springtime, the time when it was necessary to appease the Gods so they would bless the coming planting and harvest season.

Slowly, but surely the family followed the Old One upwards to the top of the temple mount. There was a platform above an opening looking down into the mouth of a raging inferno of flames.

The Old One went back towards his daughter and took his newborn granddaughter into his arms and turned to walk to the platform that took him out over the flames. The family could hardly restrain his daughter as she struggled, screaming for her baby to be given back to her.

The Old One lifted his screaming newborn granddaughter out over the flames, chanting to the gods he served and then let her fall into the arms of the waiting god Molech.

God Said in Ezekel 16

“You took your sons and daughters whom you had borne to Me and sacrificed them to idols to be devoured…You slaughtered My children and offered them up to idols by causing them to pass through the fire.”

Look closely at this Old One. He stands in the sunlight, at the top of the tower, over the flames with arms raised to the sky, chanting and praising the creation, answering the shrill cry of an eagle overhead.

Then he turns to walk back to his family. Look behind him; there attached to his foot is the shadow of the darkness from the cave he came out of. His shadow has its own life and clings to his body as he moves forward into the sunlight.

And so it is that mankind continues daily to strive towards the light, with the darkness never leaving him for it clings to his every step filling his soul with shadows, darkening his mind and reasoning abilities.

This Old One is part of the recorded History by man of mankind’s early beginnings. Beginnings filled with the sacrifice of babies, thrown into the fire to appease the god Molech; who is one of satans demons.

Not much has changed since time and sin began together. There is a hard callous over the conscience of both men and woman who today, through abortion, still sacrifice their babies to the god Molech.

Matthew 18:6
 “but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.”

God will not be mocked and He is not slow to judge. Vengeance is Mine…says The Lord.

GOD and the CROSS of HIS SON

Tears of God

In many of my stories I imagine God speaking directly to me.

“My child God said to me. I wanted to tell you personally what the Crucifixion of My Son meant to me.

You have children and grand children and I know you love them. I know that you would do all you could to protect them from harm and that you would gladly take upon yourself their death. I know this because you were created in my image with the ability to Love.

I know that if men took your child and beat him with whips that ripped both flesh and bone from his back…that you could not be restrained.

I know if men forced your child to carry a beam of heavy wood down the street as people swore at him, mocking him, and spitting on him… that you could not be restrained.

I know if men forced your child to lie down on that cross and then drove nails through his feet and hands to hold him there…that you could not be restrained.

Could you Ernie? The Lord asked softly…no Lord I said quietly.

I stood and watched as they did all those things to my Son. I stood there not for His sake but for yours, because He took that punishment not for His sake but for yours….I honored you through His Pain. But Ernie, when Jesus…MY SON cried out …MY GOD…MY GOD…WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?

That was more than I could bear, so I turned away and cried uncontrollably. My Son had wept over Jerusalem; and now I wept over my Son. Yes, I could not look upon the Worlds Sins that MY Son was bearing, but even more than that, if I had looked at HIM at the moment HE said those words…I knew in my heart …

That I could not be restrained!

Ernie…I wanted you and those that say they love my Son, to know that even for the Joy set before both HIM and I…the Cross was the most difficult thing either of us have gone through.”

What will you say to GOD?

As I write to you my imagination finds me alone standing before the God of Creation at a moment in time yet future. A moment when time is no more. Here I stand, suspended on nothing, naked before the Bema, before the God who is Holy, Holy, Holy. The God of Love, yes but also the God of Justice who required that my life meet not a standard of excellence but of perfection.

Just a millisecond ago I was in my body. Now my body has gone the way of all flesh, back to the dust it was made of. I am what is left. The essence of who I always was and will now continue to be; a soul and spirit made in the image of God. He brought me to life, yet it is I who holds my life now in my own hand.

Then Blazing light enveloped my being as I was drawn upward by a power not my own. My spiritual eyes now accustomed to this light found myself standing before the ONE who called me into existence from eternity past. The ONE who
gave me life as He did you with a purpose to fulfill.

His purpose, not mine or yours

No words have been exchanged at this point. Only a gaze between us that seemed timeless. Then, His eyes changed as He looked at me. They became eyes of fire. This light that pierced me, surrounded me, and enveloped me. I found myself falling to my knees before Him and then further down until I lay prostrate before Him. Face down, with my arms outstretched, suspended in space…forming the Cross.

The Book of Life was opened before me, His book, His Autobiography. Scriptures poured forth from it swirling around me. As my life unfolded before me, verses came forth and applied themselves to every scene of my life. The verses I had memorized came forth to join the ones that poured forth from His Word.

Now it was Scripture, the very words of God that were judging my every act, my every thought…the motives of my heart. Up until now no words had come out of my mouth. I only watched this shared vision of my life before God. Then I heard His voice speak. His words lifted me upright before HIM. It was now my turn to speak on my behalf.

Satan

The pages of the Bible offer a glimpse into the past history of a spirit dimension or angelic realm we human beings cannot see into. This dimension also has a past, present and future history that parallels our own. The Earth we live on groans for the Redemption of this Universe and the Holy Angels also look forward to the time when evil will be gone forever in Eternity.

In Isaiah 14 vs. 13 we get a glimpse of the disease of Sin in the Heart of Satan. It was Satan who offered Sin, which is disobedience of God, to the parents of mankind. Hear the Prophet Isaiah as he gives us a glimpse of God’s words to Satan, along with his future resting place in Hell.

“But you (Satan) said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, and I will sit on the mount of assembly in the recesses of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High (GOD).

Nevertheless you (Satan) will be thrust down to Hell, to the recesses of the pit.”

GOD hates Pride, human or angelic. Count them, there are five I will’s, ending with Satan’s desire to be like God. There can be only ONE GOD!

God has allowed Satan for a time, to be the god of this Earth. Yet God has provided an answer to this generational problem of sin.

Prophecy begins in the book of Beginning’s, the book of Genesis. It is there that God foretells of the coming of HIS MESSIAH, HIS CHRIST, HIS Son; who will save Humanity by absorbing a wound, while crushing Satan and his reign of Sin on this Earth once and for all.
