The Amazing Drama

Take your seat and sit back and get to know the SON of GOD

To him give all the prophets witness (Acts 10:43).
In the volume of the book it is written of me (Ps. 40:7; Heb. 10:7).

The most amazing drama that ever was presented to the mind of man—a drama written in Messianic Prophecies in the Old Testament and in the Eye Witness Historical Accounts in the four Gospels of the Jewish New Testament—you will find the narrative of Jesus the Messiah of Israel and the Christ of His Church.

One outstanding fact, among many, completely isolates Jesus. It is this: that one man only in the history of the world has had explicit details given beforehand of His birth, life, death and resurrection and Ascension.

These details are in documents given to the public centuries before He appeared. No one, can challenge, that these documents were widely circulated long before His birth.

Anyone and everyone can compare for himself / herself the actual records of His life with those ancient documents, and find that they match one another perfectly.

The challenge of this pure miracle is that it happened concerning only one man in the whole history of the world.

Centuries before Jesus was born His birth and career, His sufferings and glory, were all described in outline and detail in the Jewish Old Testament.

Christ is the only person ever born into this world whose ancestry, birth time, forerunner, birthplace, birth manner, infancy, manhood, teaching character, career, preaching, reception, rejection, death, burial, resurrection and ascension were all prewritten in the most marvelous manner centuries before He was born.

Gods living tapestry

In colonial days people would create quilts that served as a record of their families. These beautiful quilts would be made of remnant cloth patches. Each patch like a movie frame captured an event in the life of that family.

The patches would be embroidered with multicolored thread that provided the details of those scenes of life that told the story of the family. It became a tapestry of the life of one family’s history.
Did you know there is another tapestry YOU may be part of ? It is different from the tapestry of life created by people to record the past history of one single family. The other tapestry is a living tapestry made up of the family that is Redeemed and bought by the blood of the Son of God. Jesus paid on the Cross for each member of His family throughout time…past, present and future.

It has been said by someone else that each believer is but one thread in a Grand Tapestry that is being woven throughout time by the very hand of God Himself.

Believers represent a multitude of colored threads that have been CROSS Stitched together with the one Crimson colored thread of the Lord Jesus Christ…forming a living tapestry of people who have Eternal Life in Heaven.

This tapestry is made up of single threads that can only be seen from beneath while we are living on earth. When we get to Heaven and we know as we are known. We will be able to see the story of our new Family Tapestry that God has Cross Stitched together throughout TIME to form the NEW ETERNAL Completed Tapestry of Life.

If you look up to the heavens can you see YOUR THREAD Cross Stitched to the Crimson Thread of Christ?

Easter Thought: the Birth of Adam

“Then God said, “Let US make man in OUR image, according to OUR likeness….So God created man in HIS own image; in the image of God HE created him; male and female HE created them….Then God blessed them.”…………Genesis 1:26 – 27

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”………..Genesis 2:7

Lets go back in time for a moment to when God made Adam. God reached down into the earth and gathered a handful of dust from which He would create the first man. God is omniscient meaning He knows the future. He knew that there would be days coming when He would have to sacrifice His only begotten Son on a Cross-to bring salvation to the race of mankind.

So when God gathered the dust to form the first man, it was His tears that wet the dust to turn it into clay as God molded Adam into His Image. These were the first of the many tears of God because He knew what the cost was going to be to His beloved Son on the Cross.

He knew that He would have to turn away from the cries of His Son on the Cross-when Jesus roared “My God, My God…Why have you forsaken me?” Yet God made Adam anyway from the dust mixed with His Tears. Then as Adam awoke a new creation…the first man…Adam stood and stretched his arms out as all of us do when we awake.

And the light that reflected from God upon the first man created a shadow of the Cross-behind the man.  God’s eyes looked upon the dust that Adam was made of and tears filled the eyes of God again.

The Shadow of Mans Cross would be there every morning in this land filled with both light and shadows till the end of mankind’s days.

Easter Thought: the river of blood

Did you know that there is a River of Blood that flows from the Earth to Heaven?

This river of blood represents the deaths of the multitudes in the last 2,000 years that died in the arms of Christ believing in His death on the Cross-for their sins. This river of blood when viewed from Heaven looks like a Scarlet Ribbon.

If you look closely you will see that it is anchored in the base of the Cross of Christ, planted deep into the Judean soil within the boundaries of the City of God called Jerusalem.

The other end of the Scarlet Ribbon is tied the Throne of God. It connects to both Jesus and the Great Cloud of Witness behind Gods throne. Then scarlet strands reach out across the entire world from heaven connecting to the Remnant, the Redeemed called from before the world was formed that live today on planet earth.

These scarlet strands are attached to each of us personally who believe in Jesus and are living today in time.

If only every person made in the image of God could come to know Christ during their journey in life so the weight and burden of the beam could be lifted and carried by their Savior for them!
