FROM DUST TO GLORY

Dust
To mankind GOD has given His image. He has made us a little higher than the angels. However at this time in our imperfect state before Him, God refers to us as “but dust”.

Let’s go back in time for a moment to when God made Adam the first man. God reached down into the earth and gathered a handful of dust from which He would create the first man. God is omniscient meaning He knows the future. He knew that there would be a day coming when He would have to sacrifice His only begotten Son on a Cross to bring salvation to the race of man.

So when God gathered the dust to form the first man, it was His tears that wet the dust to turn it into clay as God molded Adam into His Image. These were the first of the many tears of God because He knew what the cost was going to be to His beloved Son on the Cross. He knew that He would have to turn away from the cries of His Son on the Cross-when Jesus roared “My God, My God…Why have you forsaken me?”

Yet God made Adam anyway from the dust mixed with His Tears. Then as Adam awoke a new creation…the first man…Adam stood and stretched his arms out as all of us do when we awake.

And the light that reflected from God upon the first man created the shadow of the CROSS behind the man. God’s eyes looked upon the dust that Adam was made of …and tears filled the eyes of God again.

The Shadow of Mans Cross would be there every morning in this land filled with both light and shadows till the end of mankind’s days.

If only every person made in the image of God could come to know JESUS during their journey in life so the weight and burden of the beam could be lifted and carried by their Savior.

But every person cannot come to Christ, because God has chosen and elected the few and not the many. And God did that to bring Glory to HIS Name. But what of free will you say…God said He gave you free will, and He did. He gave you, in your fallen state the ability to choose your sins. But you do not have the ability to choose God as your savior. That choice resides alone with God through the Power of the HOLY SPIRIT.

The question you face is whether or not you are one of the Chosen. The Bible speaks always of a Remnant (the few) whom God chose from eternity past from among the nations of the earth to ultimately be a love gift to His Son.

Are you one of the Chosen? Do you have Royal blood running through your veins? It’s been said that running throughout time is a Crimson Thread representing the Bloodline of the Messiah. Throughout history this bloodline and its attempted corruption has been the main focus of the angel of light who has become the King of Darkness, the god of this world, satan.

Satan is a believer in Jesus. So much so that he has spent all his energy throughout time to stop the plan of Salvation as described in the Bible, the Word of God.

And so the battlefield continues to be filled with blood and the war rages on both in the realm of humans and the realm of angels. When God formed us from the dust using HIS tears to make the clay, it did not complete us.

Each of us was born alive physically but our Spirit within us was born dead. We each need to find a personal relationship with JESUS. Only in this way can we gain the assurance of our Salvation and become Born Again by having our Heart Circumcised and our Spirit Quickened and brought to life within us.

The only place this journey to Salvation can begin is within the pages of the book that God Himself wrote for you to read about Himself. His Words, the Words of God will grow within your heart and mind and kindle the flame within your Spirit.

This flame ultimately will consume you so that every thought you have about every circumstance in your life, and the world around you will be measured against the Word of God.

Then you will gain a new perspective about life here. You will realize you don’t belong here at all. Heaven will become precious to you like never before. And most of all you will become more like Christ every day and your heart will become burdened for the lost. Your compassion will give you new eyes to see through every day as you continue to meet those I call the real walking dead…because they have no spiritual life.

You need wisdom and discernment to rely on the words of men who write books about the word of God. But if you read God’s Word out of His Holy Bible you will receive wisdom and discernment from the author of everything, including an understanding of the future.

Tears of the FATHER at the CROSS of HIS SON

Good Friday, something to think about.
Excerpt from one of my Easter Church Messages called Tears of Two Fathers.

tears

My child God said to me. I wanted to tell you personally what the Crucifixion of My Son meant to me. You have children and grandchildren and I know you love them. I know that you would do all you could to protect them from harm and that you would gladly take upon yourself their death. I know this because you were created in my image with the ability to Love.

I know that if men took your child and beat him with whips that ripped both flesh and bone from his back…that you could not be restrained.

I know if men forced your child to carry a beam of heavy wood down the street as people swore at him, mocking him, and spitting on him… that you could not be restrained.

I know if men forced your child to lie down on that cross and then drove nails through his feet and hands to hold him there…that you could not be restrained. Could you Ernie? The Lord asked softly…no Lord I said quietly.

I stood and watched as they did all those things to my Son. I stood there not for His sake but for yours, because He took that punishment not for His sake but for yours….I honored you through His Pain. But Ernie, when Jesus…MY SON cried out …MY GOD…MY GOD…WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?

That was more than I could bear, so I turned away and cried uncontrollably. My Son had wept over Jerusalem; and now I wept over my Son. Yes, I could not look upon the Worlds Sins that MY Son was bearing, but even more than that, if I had looked at HIM at the moment HE said those words…I knew in my heart …That I could not be restrained!

Ernie…I wanted you and those that say they love my Son, to know that even for the Joy set before both HIM and I…the Cross was the most difficult thing either of us have gone through.”

Have YOU ever given any thought to the tears Jesus will wipe from your eyes? Why am I going to be crying before Him? Maybe because as hard as I tried while here on Earth encased in this broken vessel of clay, the motives of my heart have always been tinged with pride.

Maybe because in my own way I too have Mocked God by trying to blend into the sewage around me like a Chameleon instead of standing alone for HIM?

Maybe because I haven’t taken His command to share the Gospel serious enough and He will show me the hundreds of times I could have made a difference in someone’s life by planting a seed for the Holy Spirit to water.

I will stand before Him looking into His Eyes filled with Holy fire and use words to give an account of the life He gave me to live out before HIM. He will then show me the times He had given me words to speak in the power of the HOLY SPIRIT, but I chose to remain silent.

Your LIFE & My LIFE are ALL ABOUT JESUS…Not Us!
IN HIM I found me.
READ ISAIAH 53:1-11; (3- He was despised and rejected by men) (5- But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities) (10- Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him)

Two Gardens … One Bitter Cup

The Garden of Eden made Holy and perfect by God was spoiled by the disobedience of Adam. The creature was not willing to submit his will to the will of God his Creator.

So began the Fall of Mankind and Original Sin. Mankind, intended to display grace, mercy and love, would now love himself first. He would have…

• A need to satisfy fleshly desires (lust)
• A natural resourcefulness (self-sufficiency)
• A careless embracing of worldly wisdom (capitulation)
• A fear of failure or rejection (inferiority)
• A bent toward self-preservation (fear)
• A stubborn insistence for control and recognition (pride)
• A refusal to separate from family or friends (dependency)
• A bottomless appetite for comfort and ease (materialism)

This is only the beginning of a long list. The point is, that left to ourselves; we always rationalize reasons to please ourselves rather than God.

God would now relentlessly remind Man throughout time that actions always bring consequences. That physical life is but a vapor. That God holds eternity in His hands. That this life is not about us…but about HIM!

In God alone reside Love, Mercy and Grace…and True Pity and Compassion for us because He knows we are but dust.

Later in time, in another garden called Gethsemane; Gods pity and compassion for us was embodied in His Son. In Eden Adam lived for himself and lost life with God for all of his descendants. From that day forward the sins of mankind would begin filling a cup. A cup that the second Adam, Jesus, would drink in full, taking the worlds sins upon Himself on the Cross satisfying the wrath of His Father towards us; opening by faith a way for us to regain paradise lost and have life with God.

Ken Gire wrote in… “Intense Moments with the Savior”:

“And He went a little beyond them, and fell to the ground and began to pray. (Mark 14:35).

The verb in the Greek phrase translated “fell to the ground” is in the imperfect tense, suggesting a continual action. In other words, Jesus literally kept falling to the ground in prayer, crying out to His Father, then rising to His feet, only to fall again to the ground in prayer.

Portraits of a serene Jesus kneeling beside a rock, crowned in moonlight, mislead us. Mark described a Jesus wrestling with His destiny, pacing, falling to the ground, desperately petitioning the Father for relief, and entreating Him as a young son would his daddy: “Abba / Daddy! Father!” vs. 36

“Jesus pushes himself up from the ground and lifts his eyes towards heaven. “Yet not what I will, but what you will.” His hands are no longer clutching the grass in despair. They are no longer clasping each other in prayer. They are raised toward heaven.

Reaching not for bread or for fish or for any other good gift. Not even for answers. But reaching for the cup from his Father’s hand. And though it is a terrible cup, brimming with the wrath of God for the ferment of sin from centuries past and centuries yet to come….and though it is a cup he fears….he takes it. Because more than he fears the cup, he loves the hand from which it comes.”

Remember this REMARKABLE FACT, not even Jesus, the Lord of the Universe, could skirt the necessity of prayer to ready Himself for the grueling responsibility of HIS CROSS. The Cross that Jesus chose voluntarily because He loved you and I before the foundations of the world were made.

God always waits to hear from His children. His hand is always extended towards you, for you to reach up and hold as He walks with you through the storms of life.

There is no me, only Him. I have no will except to do His will only. I trust not in myself but in His Love and care for me…I receive all things from His hand and am glad and rejoice in His Mercy.

I am precious in His sight as are all His children who respond to the call of His Son Jesus to “come, follow me”.

WHO KILLED CHRIST ?

holding hands worship

WHO KILLED JESUS ?

I am a Messianic (Jewish) believer in Jesus. That means I believe Jesus is the Messiah that the Jewish people are looking for. Jesus is also the Christ of Christianity. Jesus is one and the same, the SON of GOD. I have been asked the question who killed Christ by both Jewish and non-Jewish friends, since I became a believer in 1985. The following is my answer to the question, “Who killed Jesus, The Christ”.

The “ANSWER” to this question can simply be put into one sentence. But understanding the question and the far reaching implications that the “ANSWER” has attached to it requires a much greater “ANSWER” than one simple sentence can express.

Who killed Christ?   I did,   you did,   every human being that has walked this earth did, the Romans did and the Jews did. But, THE PERSON who bears sole responsibility for the death of The Christ is GOD HIS FATHER.

The God who created the universe, the earth, mankind and all that is upon the earth, also created Time and History. The mystery of history is that it is really HIS- Story, the story of Jesus/Yeshua the Messiah, the Christ. History is the story of how and why Gods only Son chose to enter space and time to die on a Cross for the Sin’s of everyone. So that when we die, you and I could have a way to go home to be with God in Heaven.

In Genesis Chapter 5 there is a listing of the names of the Descendants of Adam. It is a genealogy of 10 names from Adam through Noah.

Hidden within Genesis 5 is the oldest prophecy that God established regarding His eternal plan of redemption for mankind, which is the Gospel, The Cross of Jesus.

Every Hebrew letter or number has a meaning. When we interpret the Hebrew meaning of each of these 10 names, they form the most fascinating sentence in the entire Bible.

Adam……………………………man (is)
Seth……………………………..appointed
Enosh……………………………mortal
kenan……………………………sorrow (but)
Mahalalel……………………….The Blessed God
Jared…………………………….shall come down
Enoch……………………………teaching
Methusaleh……………………..His Death Shall Bring
Lamech…………………………. the despairing
Noah……………………………..comfort and rest.

Man (is) appointed mortal sorrow (but) The Blessed God shall come down teaching, His Death Shall Bring the despairing comfort and rest.

How awesome is God, that within the Hebrew names of a genealogy in the Old Testament, HE would hide the New Testament Plan of Redemption. (Salvation, bought for all through the death on the Cross of Gods Son, Jesus / Yeshua the Messiah of Israel!).

Yes, every person that ever lived contributed to Christ’s death because of their Sin. Yet it was God His Fathers plan to put HIS own Son Jesus the Messiah, to death on the Cross. Listen again, as God speaks through the Prophet Isaiah about the crushing of the Messiah. In Isaiah 53 vs. 10 “but the Lord was pleased to crush Him, putting Him to grief as a guilt offering”.

Jesus, volunteered for the assignment in Heaven. We read in the book of Hebrews 12 vs 2 that Jesus willingly laid HIS life down, “ Who for the JOY set before HIM endured the Cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Jesus knew in eternity past that HE would go to the Cross and that HE would be Resurrected. But HE also knew the Joy of a future eternity filled with His redeemed people, bought by HIS Blood because of HIS willing sacrifice on that Cross for you.

Yes, I killed Christ, you killed Christ, the Romans Killed Christ, the Jews killed Christ………all of Mankind Killed Christ. Fixing the blame isn’t important! What is important is to accept Jesus’s death on the Cross for your Sin’s. Placing your hand in HIS so HE can welcome you to your new home in heaven when you die.

Take HIS hand; it is GODS HAND reaching out to save you from yourself and your 2nd death, YOUR ETERNAL DEATH that Satan wants you to experience Forever.

A New Lamb is Coming

Lion Lamb (2)

WHERE IS THE LAMB?

In the Old Testament:

The Jewish Nation has been saying “Where is the Lamb?” for over 3,500 years. God had instituted the Jewish sacrificial system for the Remission of individual Sins by the shedding of blood.

Every week throughout a Jews entire life he would be constantly searching for the best lamb he could get for the sacrifices he needed to make for himself and his family.

When Abraham made the trip with Isaac to Mt. Moriah to sacrifice his son on an alter to the Lord, Isaac asked the question that would echo throughout time by the Jewish people…”Where is the Lamb?”

Rabbis today are discussing how and when to re-institute the Sacrificial System. They know they need a Temple. We know from the book of Revelation that the End Time Temple will be rebuilt without the Court of the Gentiles. The dome of the rock now occupies that area.

The Rabbis missed GOD’s point about allowing the destruction of His Temple in 70 AD. GOD ended their animal Sacrificial System for Sin. Because a New Lamb was coming. The Rabbis now want a Temple to be prepared for their coming Messiah. SOON, the Nation of Israel will again be saying…”Where is the Lamb?”.

In the New Testament:

Then when Jesus approached John to be baptized, John exclaimed: “Behold…The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” The question of “where is the Lamb?” was answered once and for all time by the Jewish Prophet John who himself exclaimed “I am The Voice of one crying in the Wilderness; make ready the way of the Lord”. It was John’s purpose to announce the coming Messiah to the Nation of Israel after 400 years.

The Nation of Israel had cried out to God for 400 years, yet God was silent…UNTIL the Jewish Prophet John the Baptizer broke the silence with Behold, The Lamb of GOD….. and GOD replied from the Heavens above…”This is MY beloved SON in whom I AM well pleased.

In the Book of Revelation:

Then finally the Lamb of God is identified as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Y’shua – JESUS the Christ, the Messiah, The Lamb of God who was “worthy to be slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing…To HIM who sits on the throne and to the Lamb, Be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever…AMEN”.

Stay AWAKE and listen for the Trumpet Call with the EARS of Your HEART.

IT WON’T BE LONG NOW !

HE IS RISEN!

We call HIM the Son of God
We call HIM the Messiah of Israel
We call HIM the Christ of HIS Church
We call HIM the Lord God Almighty
We call HIM the Lord of Lords
We call HIM the King of Kings
We call HIM the King of Angels
We call HIM the King of Men

And we call HIM the KING of AGES.

That last title to me is the most awesome title of all …The King of AGES. Why because the King of Ages is the King of Eternity and if you believe in Jesus, then you my friend have become an Eternal Being with a future.

You will live in HIS Presence forever as He lives to please you and make you Happy throughout the Ages to come that He has planned for HIS eternal family to enjoy together.

1 Corinthians 2:9 (New Living Translation)
That is what the Scriptures mean when they say,
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”

If you “Love HIM” then remember Him, and He will remember you and like the thief on the Cross next to Him you will hear in your heart the Lord say to you…

“Today you will be with me in Paradise”.

You live in time, but you have no time.

Reach up and take His hand. He will never let go of you and you will be able to take comfort the rest of your days here no matter what comes because you now are living the great adventure.

And you now can have JOY in the JOURNEY.

GOD Cares

God cares so very much about you that He asked His Only Son to become a man and to die in your place so that you might have eternal life filled with light rather than eternal death encompassed in darkness you can touch.

You know Jesus did not have to do it. He could have said no to His Father’s request. But He chose the nails because He could see into the future and it brought JOY to HIS heart knowing that you could, should you desire…choose to live with HIM in Heaven rather than without HIM in Hell.

So He said yes to the horror of the Cross-because He would rather die for you than live without you. It is impossible for us to understand His compassion for us. That Jesus would turn His gaze toward Jerusalem and begin to walk to a death He already knew intimately in eternity past.

His resolve to finish what He came here to do, proved beyond a doubt the rock foundation of Old Testament Prophecies about His first Coming. Then He lived a life among us so we could walk by sight and not faith. Then the Apostles wrote down the living history of the New Testament that explained the New Covenant and the details of His coming a 2nd and final time for HIS OWN.

And so Jesus Roared from the Cross…”IT IS FINISHED”. And the beginning of the end that would have a new beginning with no end…began!

GOD and the CROSS of HIS SON

Tears of God

In many of my stories I imagine God speaking directly to me.

“My child God said to me. I wanted to tell you personally what the Crucifixion of My Son meant to me.

You have children and grand children and I know you love them. I know that you would do all you could to protect them from harm and that you would gladly take upon yourself their death. I know this because you were created in my image with the ability to Love.

I know if men forced your child to lie down on that cross and then drove nails through his feet and hands to hold him there…that you could not be restrained.

Could you Ernie? The Lord asked softly…no Lord I said quietly.

Approaching HIS Cross

Please notice as we approach HIS Cross.

It is not higher than the rest of the crosses on the road. The two flanking crosses are at the same height as HIS. If we did not know it was HIM, we would have walked by not noticing HIS Cross. The only thing that was different was the sign over HIS head that read…

“This IS the KING of the JEWS.” Luke 23:38.

Jesus looked like every other Jew hanging on a cross along the road. There was nothing unique about HIM visually. It was the words that He spoke that drew attention and the miracles that He did that gave HIM credibility. But here on the Cross-He did not stand out for He came to die as one of us…so He blended in.

If you did not know the story you would not know that God was hanging there before you.
What of the two Crosses on either side? They remind us that we have a choice to make. For the one thief accepted Christ and went to be with Christ in Heaven; while the other went to hell condemned by the original sin he was born with and then carried to his death.

Scripture makes it clear that there IS a Heaven and Hell.

On The Cross:

Jesus knew my name.

Jesus knew my story.

I was on His mind when He Died!
