When I cry out in desperation, trying to reach deep within the darkness of who I am to find me

LET ME NOT BE THERE.

I want yours to be the only hand reaching out from my heart

within me TOO ME.

I want yours to be the only heart that beats deep

WITHIN ME.

I want you to be the only person that I can find

WITHIN ME.

For I want to grow up and be just like you

AND NOT BE LIKE ME.
