Jewish People believe in Works Righteousness. But the Old TestamentTeaches, being a good person isn’t good enough to get you into heaven.

According to the Old Testament Scriptures…. Good Works will not be enough to get anyone into Heaven. The rabbis will say good works… IS… enough, but the rabbis speak for man, not for God.

Just like the New Testament has the Romans Road to Salvation through Jesus the Messiah of Israel. There is a Jewish Road to Heaven in the Old Testament, but you cannot get there through Works Righteousness.

Instead it is a road that convicts you of your Sin before God. It then offers hope in a New Covenant and New Circumcised Heart that you can find within the Jewish Gospels; contained in Isaiah, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

YOU ARE A SINNER:

Gen 8:21   The intent of man’s heart is evil from his youth.

YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF:

Isa 64:6       All our righteous deeds are like filthy garments.

YOU WILL BE JUDGED AFTER DEATH:                

Dan 12:2     Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake to everlasting life, but  the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.

THERE IS A HELL:

Isa 66:23-34   All mankind will come to bow down before me, says the Lord. Then they shall go forth and look on the corpses of the men who have transgressed against Me. For their worm shall not die and their fire shall not be quenched and they shall be an abhorrence to all mankind.

BUT THERE IS HOPE !

GOD HAS PERSONALLY BLINDED THE JEW:

Isaiah 6:9  Keep on listening, but do not perceive. Keep on looking but do not understand Render the hearts of this people insensitive, their ears dull and their eyes dim, lest they see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and return and be healed.

GOD IS WAITING FOR YOU TO FIND HIM:      

Pvb 8:17   I love those who love me; and those who diligently seek me will find me.

NEW COVENANT:        

Jer 31:31   Behold, days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made their fathers…I will put my law within them, and on their heart I will write it ,and I will be their GOD and they will be my people.

WHO IS A TRUE JEW:

Deu 30:6  The name JEW comes from Judah (To Praise God). In Deut.30: 6, God explains a true person of God, is one whose Heart has been changed. What is important to God is circumcision of the Heart not of the flesh…this speaks of being Born Again.

GOD SAID HE HAS A SON:

Pvbs 30: 4 What is His Name, or His son’s name? Surely you know!

GOD SENT A SAVIOR, HIS SON:  

Isa 7:14     Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a Virgin be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. God with Us…Messiah

MESSIAH SUFFERING SERVANT:

OPEN the Word of God, read…Psalm 22, Is 53, Zech 12:10, Dan 9:26.

DEATH OF THE MESSIAH:  

Daniel 9:26…he dies before the temple is Destroyed in 70 AD.
