OPEN YOUR BIBLE FOR A SHORT LESSON ABOUT WHO ARE SINNERS.
JESUS came to die on HIS CROSS for ALL SINNERS. He came to Save Each of US from Ourselves ! Witnessing begins at The Foot of HIS CROSS. Then you can begin to discuss the Topic of SIN.
No sin is worse than the other, for all sins will take you to Hell.
Repentance Begins with the FEAR OF GOD !
“Luke 12:4-6 I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!
Matthew 7:4-5 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and behold, the log is in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.
To Throw the Stone
8 1-2 Jesus went across to Mount Olives, but he was soon back in the Temple again. Swarms of people came to him. He sat down and taught them.
3-6 The religion scholars and Pharisees led in a woman who had been caught in an act of adultery. They stood her in plain sight of everyone and said, “Teacher, this woman was caught red-handed in the act of adultery. Moses, in the Law, gives orders to stone such persons. What do you say?” They were trying to trap him into saying something incriminating so they could bring charges against him.
6-8 Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger in the dirt. They kept at him, badgering him. He straightened up and said, “The sinless one among you, go first: Throw the stone.” Bending down again, he wrote some more in the dirt.
9-10 Hearing that, they walked away, one after another, beginning with the oldest. The woman was left alone. Jesus stood up and spoke to her. “Woman, where are they? Does no one condemn you?” 11 “No one, Master.” “Neither do I,” said Jesus. “Go on your way. From now on, don’t sin.”
A Believer in Jesus is still a Sinner while living in this body on planet earth. Your heart has been changed but your body still contains the Old You; and the battles continue against the sin still alive in you. You don’t need to go very far to realize that you are still a sinner. Sins are alive in your mind, and when you look in the mirror and say to yourself you are not a sinner , then be quiet and hear Christ whisper in your ear to remind you that you are a hypocrite.
