Our Humble Savior

“A Stone that makes Men Stumble and a Rock that makes Them Fall.”

The Blind Will See, The Deaf will Hear, The Dumb will Speak, The Lame Will Walk. These are a small portion of the Miracles Jesus did when He walked among those HE CREATED.

In the desert a voice is crying.
Prepare the way for Messiah’s coming.
A stone that makes men stumble
and a rock that makes them fall.

By the banks of the Jordan, he was waiting.

For the sign of the one who would surely come.
When he heard what the thunder now was saying
. It was clear this must be the chosen One.

The deaf will hear, and the dumb will talk.
The blind will see, and the lame will walk.
A stone that makes men stumble
. And a rock that makes them fall.

He came gently and stepped down into the water
with the light of the Father in His face.
Son of God He had been since the beginning
. Now as son of man Jesus took his place.
A stone that makes men stumble.
And a rock that makes them fall.

He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

29 The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him and *said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 32 John testified saying, “I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him. 33 I did not recognize Him, but He (JESUS) who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’ 34 I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God.”
